Synopsis

In a country where the Second Class status of American-Americans have become all too common place in the minds of many, DC Clark has stuck a stick of dynamite to the notion that Black People are inferior to anyone. In his book, Lessons From The Other Side, Clark explores the foundation America was built on and how that very foundation is crumbling right before our eyes. He explores how African-Americans are caught between the duality of striving for respectability while at the same time abandoning the very foundation that makes them unique: the black community. In a strong, uncompromising and powerful critique of life in America, Lessons makes a passionate plea to African descendant people living in this country to look inside of themselves and bring forth the very best that each has to offer, with the intent of building a strong, united Black community. This book leaves no stone unturned.

So when millions of victims who have tenure here, are not acknowledged by the United States itself, it is easy to see why others (immigrants), are not obligated to acknowledge them. However, Brother DC will not let them forget." -Asi Niamaya, Co-Founder of IAM (International African Movement)"DC Clark is a modern day Frederick Douglass. His love for humanity is his greatest attribute." - Former Congresswoman The Honorable Carrie P.
