Richard was only thirteen when his father, the King, passed away. Even before he was coronated as king, his jealous and cruel stepmother, Josephine, tried to have him murdered so that her own blood line would rule the kingdom. Ewart, the court wizard, protected the young king and helped the king find the truth about Josephine. Richard regarded Ewart as his closes friend and respected his council and wisdom. The young king needed to prove himself in the eyes of the kingdom and still survive the evilness within his own court. With Ewart's help, Richard matured into a powerful and fair king.

James L Leichner, President and CEO of Dabtcom Technologies, Inc., is the author of The Forbidden Seed. James has also written the Secret of the Realm, a four book series: The Great Caravan, Young Richard, Beyond the Great Whites, and The Invasion. He is the father of two sons, Austin and Aaron, and lives with his wife Vicki in Delaware, Ohio.
