Synopsis

My desire to find out what the Bible says regarding marriage, divorce, and remarriage started when my husband took a course, Marriage and the Family. One evening after class when my husband came home from school, he was telling me about a discussion they had in class. The discussion was about marriage, divorce, and remarriage and how the Bible gives two exceptions for divorce and how you are able to remarry after a divorce. I told my husband that I did not think that remarriage after a divorce was true and that I was going to research the Bible to see what the Word of God had to say. I started my study in the New Testament with the four gospels to see what Jesus had to say on the matter. Then I continued to go through each book thereafter, which led me to the very beginning with Adam and Eve and how God instituted and created marriage.
