Synopsis

The pressures of young adulthood thrust Jaiem, a Vyrdmar prince, into a self-imposed isolation. In a fit of melancholy, he is lured into a web of seduction spun by an immortal heretic called Promothos. Forgotten by most in the world, Promothos has resurfaced to mount a lethal threat against Jaiem's royal family, their kingdom, and their world, and the young prince unwittingly becomes his pawn. From the dawn of the world, Promothos sought to cull the Vyrdmar faithful from their god Yggir's flock, seducing them with the power of the "primordial flame," the boundless creative power of the cosmos. In this chapter of that struggle, Jaiem takes center stage. Promothos is loosed from his abyss. The Vyrdmar's high city is besieged, and the fate of an entire world hangs in the balance.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I am a lawyer by training, but have been writing ever since I was sixteen years old. In 1995, I moved to Washington, DC, where I now live and work, after a four-year enlistment in the US Navy. My travels in the Navy enhanced my appreciation for world history and culture. Mythology has always been my favorite form of ancient cultural expression. I love mythology, and view mythology as a precursor to fantasy and religion. I live out my ideas through fantasy and hope my readers will be inspired to do the same.
