All proceeds from the book are going to support the work of two great non-profit organizations. One non-profit organization, The Lutheran Education Foundation of Minnesota, provides financial assistance to low-income families that want to send their children to Christian schools. The second non-profit organization, Starfish Ministries, supports an ELL(English Language Learners) program for families that have recently immigrated to the United States from Burma.

Micah Stohlmann is a doctoral candidate and instructor in mathematics education with a minor in educational psychology at the University of Minnesota. He is a former high school mathematics teacher, athletic director, and coach.
