Biography Michael (Mickey) Stadtler grew up in old Brooklyn, Ohio. The hospital where he was born no longer exists, nor the elementary school that formulated his young spirit into that of a want-to-be entertainer. At the ripened age of fifty-one he started writing. Mike found it to be an enjoyable pastime. He is a Premier Author on Fan Story, a web site for folks that like to write to receive reviews from their peers. His first book Crossing the River Blue, was published in May of 2009. He received the award of personal achievement with hardy congratulations from friends and family. Now reaching out to the world, he hopes everyone will enjoy a few hours of the written word, finding themselves in a reality of fantasy that only their imagination can take them.
