She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Wilmington College of Ohio and a Master’s degree in writing and literature from Wright State University. Catherine has taught college-level writing and literature since 1992 and has been a professional writer for more than 25 years. Her love of hiking and outdoor activities brought her, her husband Bill, and their two dogs—Asher and Ozzie—to the mountains of Western North Carolina where they live in a log cabin at the edge of the Nantahala National Forest.
