He penned hit songs such as “Somewhere In My Lifetime” by Phyllis Hyman, “Shame, Shame, Shame,” and many others. In 1977, he was gloriously converted and entered into full-time ministry in 1982. Dr. Alvarez led Praise and Worship for RW Shambach and Nicky Cruz. He later served as a Music Minister with Pastor David Demola. Now Dr. Alvarez pastors THE LOVE OF JESUS FAMILY CHURCH in Orange, NJ.
