In order to understand your relationships with other people, you must first understand yourself. Achievers throughout history have one thing in common—they know themselves. This means they don’t underestimate what they can do, they don’t sell themselves short and they know their own limitations. More importantly, by understanding themselves, they are able to develop plans to overcome their shortcomings and take full advantage of their strengths to improve their communication and effectiveness with others. The DISC Assessment measures observable behavior. Behaviors are the “how” of your life and are apparent in the things you do and how you act. Whether you know it or not, these behaviors are so predictable that to react differently requires conscious effort and focused attention. This workbook will not only walk you through the values of the four primary behavioral types, but will also introduce your Leadership Aptitudes. These Aptitudes highlight the strengths inherent in each dimension of your behavioral style. After completing this workbook, you will have a better understanding of yourself and the value others can add to your life.Includes a FREE mini-assessment that will introduce you to your DISC style. To maximize the learning process, the DISC Assessment for the Workplace (sold separately) is available at www.DISC-U.org and is recommended. This workbook includes over 100 pages of helpful information and activations to engage you in the learning process. Workbook Sections include: - DISC Fact Sheets to better understand your Primary Type and what value the other three types bring - Insight Sections to connect the information with people you already know to begin to understand them better - Leadership Aptitude section to identify your leadership style - DISC Team Wheel to plot your team’s primary style together

For the last fifteen years Jason Hedge has been working with individuals and leaders in Business and Ministry with the goal of applying an intentional focus toward engagement – both at work and in life. He serves as the Director of the Human Resource Department at Bethel Church of Redding where he oversees Bethel Church’s staff development process and the implementation of engagement directives. Jason first began coaching as a workplace engagement strategy to reignite the hidden or neglected passions and dreams of Bethel’s staff and bring them into fulfillment. This process uncovered for Jason, a greater desire and motivation to help others unlock their potential and stride confidently into the role they were created for. In addition to Business, Personal and Dream Coaching, Jason began to align the focus of his personal interests alongside his work at Bethel. His overall focus is developing and implementing leadership and management tools that build a workforce that is happier, healthier, and more engaged. This focused alignment has created additional opportunities for Jason as a guest speaker, trainer and workshop presenter at locations around the world. Jason holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Industrial Technology from CSU, Fresno. Jason’s work experience spans numerous positions and fields including for-profit and not for-profit companies spread across several industries. Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Jason has years of experience and training in managing every corporation’s most valuable resource: people. www.JasonHedge.com www.DISC-U.org
