It’s not going to be easy. His distant relationship with Mom is as obvious as the changing seasons in smalltown Mayhaw. That’s not to say he won’t receive some unexpected help along the way.

To Pass It On is a story of movement—of seasons and of people. Aydenn’s jaunt through “growing up” is proof that, in life, we’ll meet all the people we're supposed to meet—and at just the right time. It's stories like this that make us think twice about coincidences.

Scott Duka holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus in Creative Writing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His writing is inspired by people and their journeys; the forest and the thick of it; the coast and the thinness of it. In his do-what-you’d-like time, he enjoys hearing what kids have to say, barefoot trekking, conversations new and old, yoga, live music, and drinking plenty of water. He resides in Santa Clara, California.
