Yearning & yearning for the past subside, & the poet stands whole, in an off-key but deeply human twilight of poetry & deep understanding. This is a hard-earned, wonderful book.

Helen Ruggieri studied with the late William Stafford at the Atlantic Center for Arts and with John Balaban at Penn State. She has several chapbooks – Rock City Hill Exercises, The Poetess, Concrete Madonna, and Glimmer Girls. Her book - Butterflies Under A Japanese Moon--is from Kitsune Press.
