The Lord overturned the foundations of my life in 1964. At that time I was struck down by His power and enveloped in His Glory. A stunning prophecy followed having to do with “End-Time” events and my calling to help prepare others for the perils, persecutions and promises that lie ahead. Earthquakes, famines, and other catastrophic events like those described in Mat. 24 were on the horizon and He wanted His people ready to walk through them. I was bewildered. I had never heard about the “End-Time” and had no idea that prophesies are for the here and now. On that fateful day, something of the divine (completely outside of myself) happened within. From thenceforth, an apocalyptic panorama painted by the Holy Spirit and confirmed by the testimony of Scripture started forming in my spirit. My wife Jody, a born again Jew, stepped into my life about 15 years into my walk. It was a time of prolific domestic ministry when I was doing a lot of preaching and the Spirit of God was moving in miraculous ways amongst His people. From the get-go we shared a common passion for the Lord and the integrity of His uncompromised Word. It was then, as it is now, our desire to restore the beauty and simplicity of New Testament Christianity to our generation and to live lives wholly commensurate with the example set by the believers in the Book of Acts. In the eighties we went through a firestorm of persecution comparable to the assaults documented in the Bible, but rarely witnessed against believers in contemporary America. Out of it came our first book, which was picked up in the providence of God by a Nigerian chief , thus opening an unexpected door for us to take the Gospel—not only to Africa—but also to over 100 nations. Soon we were beseeched by requests from people traveling long distances to lay hold of authentic Christian materials, free from the tainted influence of human invention. The hunger was astounding! We continue to this day fueling the flame and discipling church leaders by mail. In the nineties we went on to publish another book, The Two Headed Dragon of Africa, in response to a cry from our Nigerian brethren for a voice speaking out against Islamic plans to “eradicate Christianity” and takeover Africa. Brethren were being martyred and needed help to sound an alarm. Other books followed. Now, nearly 50 years after the kindling of the End-Time message in my heart, the fulness has come out in our newest book. We pray it’s a blessing to many.
