Sheryln Miller is a Christian author and women's ministry leader. She has written about marriage, stewardship and Christian obedience as it pertains to law and grace. She often quotes, Matthew 5:18, when referring to sloppy grace, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Heaven and earth are still here and all has not been fulfilled, so obedience to the law is required. Although Christ fulfilled the ceremonial portions of the law and we no longer present the blood of animals to God to atone for sin, obedience is still required, for in our obedience we take on the nature of God. For without holiness no man or woman will see God (Hebrews 12:14).
