Cherrie Southerland is an ordained minister currently on the ministerial staff at the House of Joy Christian Ministries in Cincinnati Ohio, where Bishop Todd E. O’Neal is pastor. She entered into the ministry in 1994 while living in Chicago IL. She was on staff at Bethany Baptist Church of Christ, where Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Little was pastor. Ms. Southerland is the author of Jesus: Do You Know Him? Vol 1. She loves the Word of God and enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God in the various churches she has been associated with. Most of all, Ms. Southerland enjoys telling a story, and finds this is a good way to get God’s message to the people. She is a retiree, the mother of one and grandmother of one.
