Paul Neumann was born and raised on the coast of California. For the past forty-three years he has made his home in Modesto. He traveled extensively in the 80's and 90's, but his work since then has been centered on the Central Valley and the people who live and work there. His first book, "Forms of Light" was published by Quercus Press in 2003.
