She is passionate about inspiring people to make their next step count, and is known for using a practical approach by creating unique tools for making change. Her work has been described as “empowering” and “life changing.” Although she doesn't consider herself adventurous, she set out on a sailboat with her husband and two school-age children and with little sailing experience for nearly two-and-a-half years, realizing a lifetime family travel dream. All four of them survived. They now live in the San Francisco Bay area on dry land.
