Synopsis

Rylie did not fit the part of a vampire slayer. Unaware of her soon-to-be title, she believes her biggest problems are landing a boyfriend and not flunking out of college. Little does she know she’s prophesied to be the vampire slayer that ends the supernatural race. Fate intervenes when Rylie stumbles upon a sequence of dark murders that terrify the nation. Unable to divulge her accomplice in the murder investigations, she sneaks around crime scenes to assist detectives, but not without getting noticed by a vampire whose mission is to assassinate her. Battling the obstacles of murder and vampire interference, Rylie has to choose between dangerous love and pure love. Embarking in a secret romance with the dark side, the lining between their worlds is revealed and boundaries are crossed. The Goddess will stop at no end to have Rylie destroyed. It’s up to Rylie and her boyfriend to fight for each other’s lives, with the mysterious help of a vampire.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

As an avid reader of Paranormal Romance, I've always loved the day I turn the last page of my book so that I can rush out to the bookstore to pick up my next read! Some of my favorite latest reads have been the Twilight series, the Fallen series, the Shadow Falls series, and the Hush Hush series. I’ve loved writing Changed. As a PreMed student from Chapman University, I combined my degree in Molecular Biology with my young adult experience as a middle school teacher, as well as my expertise in paranormal romance as one of its biggest fans, to create Changed. My molecular biology background allowed me to incorporate the forensic analysis and medical abilities into the character Rylie, as she sneaks around crime scenes to aid detectives with the serial killer wreaking havoc on her town. With my love for a good mystery and love story, I created the characters of Robert (Rylie's pure love) and Xavier (Rylie's romance with the dark side) to give the reader the kind of story they sit up late at night reading, desperate to figure out what happens next and who she chooses. Changed is the story I've been scouring bookshelves trying to find: the perfect mix of mystery, love, and paranormal sci-fi. I am in the process of writing the sequel to Changed, the second book in a series through which Rylie Autumn uncovers her destiny as a vampire slayer.
