What’s my tale about? It about the time I got turned into a horse—obviously I got better! Otherwise, I couldn’t write it all down, could I? You’ve never tried writing with a hoof, but I have. It’s hard. At the time, I was a squire of a knight named Sir Branagan—only he was a woman. No, not really. He got put into the body of a young woman named Gwendolyn and she got put into his body. How? A witch cursed us all. Lovely things, witches are. The witch had a good laugh of it—but she’s not laughing now. How did it all work out? You’ll have to read it to find out, won’t you? Things had a tendency to turn a bit humorous, as you can imagine; what with a man in a woman’s body, a woman in a man’s body, and a talking horse. Do I miss being a horse? What kind of question is that? I miss being a horse about as much as I miss having a disease that makes your eyes fall out. Sorry, that was harsh. As you can see I’m rather touchy on the subject. Well then, want to hear my tale? Go on, give it a listen.
