Synopsis

This text focuses on three unifying themes central to Latin American government today--liberty, governance, and development. À propos de l?auteur

Charles Blake is an Associate Professor of Political Science at James Madison University, where he has taught since 1992. He earned his Ph.D. from Duke University. In addition to teaching Latin American Politics, his other courses include Introduction to Comparative Politics and Research Methods. He also directs the university's study abroad program based in Salamanca, Spain.
