Oblong 4to; laminated pictorial boards; laminated pictorial dustwrapper; pp. 144; full-colour photographs; corresponding DVD in sleeve mounted to front pastedown. Fine condition. "This book on the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa in Nelson Mandela Bay is presented with a sense of nostalgia. It is an attempt to keep the memory alive of what transpired leading up to and during the event in our city. The magnitude, complexity and intricacies of being one of the host cities to the biggest , most popular, single sporting event in the world, was only really comprehended and understood by those in the engine room. Eight games were played in Nelson Mandela Bay. Sixty-four matches were broadcast worldwide over 31 days . and Nelson Mandela Bay was part of it.". N° de réf. du vendeur 10044
