Synopsis
Since the first democratic elections were held in 1994, South Africa has undergone profound changes. Many of the country’s whites have had to suddenly adapt to their changing environment. Joe Breedt, who fought in the border war, was one of them. He was never proud of the policy of apartheid, but somehow things had been better for him back then. He started to doubt the protection entrenched in the new constitution as the battle for survival shifted rapidly from the border war right into his very own living-room and office desk. In frustration he quit his job and impulsively joined a friend on a dubious treasure hunt. His daughter’s boyfriend and a beautiful young woman, who had worked with him, joined them in a thrilling adventure that did not only change his life in a matter of weeks but also the course of the entire world due to America's involvement.
