A complete introduction to the programming language SIMULA based on the new 1984 SIMULA standard, this book is designed for self-teaching or as a basis for courses at undergraduate or higher levels, and assumes no previous programming knowledge. Comprehensive examples and exercises are given with solutions. This is the most complete book on SIMULA to be written and is the only one using the current standard. It also contains warnings of conflicts with older versions and is geared to the non-mathematician, using examples from, amongst other things, word processing.
