Synopsis

Portrait of Sarah is the story of the relationship between Jules Bastien-Lepage and Sarah Bernhardt in the four months of the creation of the famous oil painting portrait by Jules. A story underpinned by interpersonal tensions, technical difficulties and an extremely cold winter in Paris, France.
