Synopsis

Aiden unintentionally pushes Bree to run home not telling her that now she has become more in tuned with her powers she can't stay with her family any longer, realizing the hard truth Bree says her goodbye and returns to Aiden, who reveals his heart to her.

Bree and Aiden's true bond unlocks a childhood memory forcing Aiden to tell Bree more of her past, which leads to far more devastating secrets and twisted lies they both try desperately to uncover.

panic erupts when the lillulian orchards are poisoned by a traitor but Aiden and Bree take the opportunity to do some investigating while Bree hopes to save the capium poisoned fields, threatening the kingdom, with a possible cure from her book.

They travel through the earth elemental city to get some new allies for the journey to the capium fields where they harvest the prillum they needed for the cure, on their way back they are attacked by massive capium crazed beasts killing half their team.

one of the beasts saves Bree's life and shows she is not what she seems, Bree takes it upon herself to nurse her new companion back to health. her new family growing they make their way home with a hero's welcome.

Bree saves the orchard and finds her friend was the one that poisoned the fields and now they have to go to the elemental city of wind to track Madeline down, once she is found more truth than Bree and Aiden can handle comes to light, but before Bree can process any of it, she is captured by her wicked uncle.

brees father reveals why she is to face the gatekeeper maiden and be judged, all those who have faced it perished, but his willingness to sacrifice the last of their kind to have her judged for the ultimate cause is apparent.

a massive battle is waged to save Bree from a prophecy no one is willing to let come to lite, only to fail horribly, after Bree has lost so much, she stands before the maiden for her judgment.
