Synopsis

Who hasn't experienced the annoying buzz ... buzz ... of a mosquito (mozzie) at night? In this charming and humorous rhyming tale, author Lois Nicholls explains how a little boy sneakily plots to catch his 'buzzing foes' by entrapping them in his crafty sheet tent.

"Before long, this mozzie will his squadron send! And they'll line up to attack from every nook and every bend!"... "Lie deadly still with covers drawn up to your chin ... try not to yawn". Then, patiently waiting in his sheet trap, he sets the scene for a calamitous end to these little 'blood-sucking foes'.

Illustrator Lara Nicholls provides delightful watercolour illustrations which bring the pesky mozzies to life as they plan their nighttime invasion. Written, illustrated and produced in Australia, this book is bound to become a much-treasured children's bedside read for years to come.
