Synopsis

Many find the book of Revelation confusing to read and understand. Revelation provides details about the ‘End Times’ (i.e. Eschatology). Generally, it is the use of symbolism which tends to be an obstacle to interpretation. However, if one adopts a ‘Biblical Theological’ approach to interpretation then the subject matter is not so difficult to grasp. It is this writer’s view that Revelation is principally about Jesus and what He reveals through the pen of the Apostle John (cf. Rev. 1:1). Accordingly, if one keeps this at the forefront of their reading then Revelation can be understood.
