About the Authors
Dr Cecilia Kitic is Director of Fertile Gut www.fertile-gut.com and The IVF Project, a service designed to optimise pre-conception health delivering exercise prescription, dietetics and psychology services for people trying to conceive and those undergoing fertility treatments www.theivfproject.com. With a PhD in Exercise Immunology, Cecilia has published over 80 papers investigating immunonutrition, endocrinology, gut health and inflammation. Cecilia’s own fertility journey has made her incredibly passionate about empowering people to optimise their chance of pregnancy success.
Dr Sue Read melds the two beautiful worlds of food and gut bugs with her PhD in Microbiology and her Masters qualification as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Sue is passionate about gut health in the areas of fertility, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), low gut diversity and dysbiosis, and weight management. In combination with University lecturing in Nutrition, Sue works in clinical practice to transform our relationship with food, nutrition knowledge and eating for optimal reproductive health, conception and pregnancy success.
