Synopsis

The first day at school becomes a captivating adventure, when siblings Danny and Sally are mistakenly put on a passing circus bus by their absent-minded grandmother.

The written text follows the children's journey, whilst the pictures reveal a monkey starting a turn of events that leads to complete mayhem.

Written in rhyming verse, children will read along with laughter and suspense as Danny and Sally try to escape the pandemonium.

Readers will find animals and characters subtly foreshadowed in the pictures. This feature makes each reading of the book a new experience, encouraging children to want to read the book again and again.
