Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew is told with humour and imagination from the outlook of the underwater characters to assist young children (and adults) to understand and see environmental concerns differently and to be aware of how their actions can impact on the underwater world. The illustrations throughout are watercolour and ink on paper to enhance the authenticity of the story.

Michelle is an illustrator and designer based in Sydney. She has a background as an IT Project Manager and has a Environmental Science Degree. This is the first book she has written and is planning on producing 2 more books in the Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew series.
