Description

Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew is a contemporary story with a contemporary message of our time written and illustrated in a traditional retro style. Centred around 7 underwater characters with a gental envirnomental message suitable for young children. Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew is told with humour and imagination from the outlook of the underwater characters to assist young children (and adults) to understand and see environmental concerns differently and to be aware of how their actions can impact on the underwater world. The illustrations throughout are watercolour and ink on paper to enhance the authenticity of the story.

This edition is written in Neutral Spanish with English sub-titles to assist learning, bilingual learning and English as a second language.

À propos des auteurs

Michelle is an Australian illustrator and author based in Sydney, she is an avid ocean lover and scuba diver, This is the first book she has written and she is currently working on a 6 book series which will be published in 2021.

Born in Santiago, capital of Chile. Studied two years of degree in Education Science with major in Spanish Language at UMCE where took part in various independent publications, but decided to shift her career into fine arts obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Painting at University of Chile in 2013. Contributor in the partial translation and voicing of the game Flash Bash and several game projects, freelance translator and English/Spanish tutor since 2012, working with people in diverse areas of expertise from Literature to Food Safety. Migrated to Australia in 2014 and currently finished the Australian Catholic University Liberal Studies program.
