Description

Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew is a contemporary story with a contemporary message of our time written and illustrated in a traditional retro style. Centred around 7 underwater characters with a gental envirnomental message suitable for young children. Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew is told with humour and imagination from the outlook of the underwater characters to assist young children (and adults) to understand and see environmental concerns differently and to be aware of how their actions can impact on the underwater world. The illustrations throughout are watercolour and ink on paper to enhance the authenticity of the story.

This edition is written in Mandarin (Chinese) with English sub-titles to assist learning, bilingual learning and English as a second language.

A propos du livre

À propos des auteurs

Michelle is an Australian illustrator and designer based in Sydney. She has a background as an IT Project Manager in the Telecommunications sector. Her education includes an Environmental Science Degree and post graduate studies in Business Administration. Michelle is an avid traveler and scuba diver, This is the first book she has written and is planning on producing 2 more books in the Toby Turtle and the Underwater Crew series.

Xiaolin Su was born in Jiangmen, Guangdong province, China. She is an Australian national accredited translator(English to Chinese) and has been translating for businesses and literature. While in school, she won several rewards in Chinese writing competitions among provinces and nationwide. She finished her bachelor degree of international economic and trade in Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus and now is finishing her master degree of professional accounting in Queensland University of Technology.
