Concerned parimarily with the geological development of the relatively undeformed sediments that border and cover the western and southern margins of the North American craton in Canada. It deals principally with three tectonostratigraphic provinces and their basins; Interior Platform, Hudson Platform and St. Lawrence Platform. 826 pages with numerous papers presented, maps, photographs, tables, references and index, plus all ten of the large folded color maps in the accompanying slipcase. Probably from a small private library as there is only a discard stamp on the title page. No other library markings, stamps, pockets or plates were ever present.
