Mary Elise Monsell authored many children's books, which were issued in several languages and reprints. Her Mr. Pin mystery series, a bestseller in school book clubs and an IRA/CBC Children's Choice, was developed into a musical in Chicago. Her UNDERWEAR book has become a classic. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern and a master's degree in teaching.
