Biographie de l'auteur

DUSKO DODER for thirty years was a foreign correspondent for the WASHINGTON POST and other news organisations, for which he covered most of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. He was born in Sarajevo and is half Serbian and half Albanian Jewish. He is the author of several critically acclaimed books including THE YUGOSLAVS and GORBACHEV: HERETIC IN THE KREMLIN, a New York Times bestseller.
LOUISE BRANSON is the Washington correspondent for THE SCOTSMAN and has previously worked for the SUNDAY TIMES in Moscow and Yugoslavia. She is married to Dusko Doder.
