Robin Walker is not used to the quiet life. As a library clerk at the 58th Street Library in Manhattan, the disruptions come from office politics. Robin tries to find solace in his co-workers. But when his supervisor Sonyai Yi is locked in a private battle with head librarian Augustus Chavez, loyalties are tested. He'll soon realize its not easy knowing who to trust, especially when his job could be on the line. As the days grow long and his grandfather's time dwindles, Robin is suddenly energized when he dates Shinju, a beautiful Asian woman he saw months ago. When Shinju becomes a part of his life, Robin tries to find joy wherever he can. But it won't be so simple, secrets are revealed, causing a great disruption that leaves the branch shattered. When this motley crew of characters finally comes together, a sudden departure leaves the library in a different place.

Syntell Smith was born and raised in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan in New York City. He began writing while blogging his hectic everyday life experiences in 2004. After gaining an audience with a following of dedicated readers, he studied scripts and plays and got into screenwriting. "Call Numbers" is his first novel that he plans to develop into a series. He loves comic books, video games, and watching reruns of Law and Order. Syntell is active on Facebook. Tumblr & Twitter, and currently lives in Detroit.

Aidana WillowRaven; a tradigital artist (a hybrid artist who combines traditional training and techniques with digital tools and applications) and mother of three; trained in Fine Art, Studio Design, and Animation at NSU and ODU. WillowRaven works with publishers, as well as, indie authors, musicians, game developers, and filmmakers. In addition to her freelance business, she's the Art Director at 4RV Publishing. Working in most genres, from picture books to novels, she has illustrated and/or designed over 500 books and ebooks since 2007 as well as, helped many companies with branding and marketing tools such as websites, logos, and coaching through her freelance company, WillowRaven Illustration & Design Plus, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Tanisha Stewart was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology in 2009, as well as a Master of Psychology in 2011. She is a college professor, teaching psychology (which she loves). In addition to her career as a lecturer, Tanisha has been writing for as long as she can remember, creating realistic story lines, relatable characters, and multi-layered plots that almost everyone can enjoy. She also takes part in hobbies such as performing rap and spoken word for various audiences. Tanisha not only demonstrates a passion for writing through her vivid story lines; she is also committed to helping other writers succeed. She offers both author coaching and proofreading services to help aspiring authors get their work off the ground, and to see it through to completion.
