Synopsis

Fly Fishing the Troutless River is a collection of stories reflecting on the joys, challenges, tribulations, defeats, and victories of a fly fisherman trying to balance the need to chase fish with a fly rod with work, marriage, and raising small fly fishermen (children). With his own particular style, the author recounts tales of trips to a strange world; where on any given day one might find glorious rewards or a series of (seemingly) random, but always humorous mishaps and quasi-disasters... the world we call the great outdoors.

À propos des auteurs

Born in Newport Beach, California in 1970, Kevin App attended college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He has since made his residence in Montana, Colorado, Washington, and now Oregon. All of those places, as he will happily share with you, are full of fish.

Rosi Oldenburg is an artist who lives and breathes art. From a very early age, she pursued her inner passion to create art... art that embraces a diverse mix of mediums from oils, acrylics and watercolor to colored pencil, graphite and much more. No canvas was too large as Rosi painted murals on walls that were waiting to become art. Born and raised in Germany, Rosi loved art, even at a young age, yet was not able to explore and develop her talents. At age 14, she entered a contest to win a scholarship at the Stuttgart Art Academy, but her work was rejected because the judges thought that she had 'hired help'. Rosi has had no formal training and is completely self-taught. She believes an artist should be able to paint in various styles. Throughout her adult life, Rosi continued to explore her creative nature painting in various mediums.
