Temel Karango is a writer, speaker, teacher, lecturer, and director of Self Centered Society, an organization he originally founded back in 2006 with a vision of helping individuals attain a true knowledge of Self. Being a former pastor, Temel has always in some capacity been a highly respected leader, trainer, teacher and worker in the communities he reached. Temel is an alumnus of Moody Bible Institute with an emphasis on Pastoral Studies. Since reestablishing ‘Self Centered Society’ in 2016, Temel has been on radio, television, and he has a global social media presence reaching tens of thousands weekly with his message of “giving the gift of You, back to your Self.” He loves heartfelt dialogue surrounding the topic of religion having its proper origins in a place we all call Africa today and showing how the ancient African concepts of culture and spirituality holds the true master key to turning around the fate and destiny of Black people in America.
