JILL-CAPRI SIMMS is CEO of Plumb Line Consulting, LLC. She launched the Authors’ Showcase as a platform for published writers and authors to present their literary work. It includes a learning forum for participants to refine their skills, network, and sell their literature. The Showcase programs have been expanded to include writing contests: the “Why Write?” essay contest for elementary, middle, and high school students, and the “Why Give?” essay/poetry contest for adults. Jill also provides book coaching services to guide aspiring and evolving writers and authors through their book business strategy. She obtained her Broadcast Journalism degree from Syracuse University, Masters in HR Management from Troy University, and Practical Theology Diploma from International Seminary. She resides in Central Florida.
