Dorothea Deley founded GoodbyeDearDog.com with her husband, Mike Maxwell, after struggling with the decision to euthanize their Dear Dog Kali. She's written for magazines and nonprofit organizations for more than 20 years, from hospice to higher education. She earned an MS in communications from the University of Denver. Dorothea and Mike live in southern Nevada where they love hiking with their dog Tino.
The Glendale Arts and Culture Commission chose Vicky Rees' abstract artwork, Color Spot, for their public utility box mural program in 2014. She's also won a number of awards in group shows. Vicky teaches art to elementary school children in the La Crescenta area, creates for commission clients and has served on the executive board for the Glendale Art Association. She also loves playing outside with her family and their goofy Labrador pup Wyatt.
