Born in Los Angeles and raised in Miami Beach, Steven Shulman has lived two lives that were polar opposite of one another. Orphaned at age 18, his life was dominated by sex, drugs and rock n roll, including a two-year stint in state prison. Having cheated death on multiple occasions, he successfully completed a 30-day rehab program in 1987 at the age of 35. From that day forward, he began living his life with determination and integrity, building a successful career as an insurance broker and real estate investor.

Inspired by the transformation of his Uncle Butch to Aunt Gloria, Steven was driven to document how this transformed his life as well.

Today, Steven is a passionate man on a mission, dedicated to saving the lives of pets in distress. 80% of net profits from the My Uncle Gloria brand will be donated to his non-profit charity, Animal Care Now. ( www.AnimalCareNow.org)
