Synopsis

Author Peter Spicer works as a high school para professional and resides in Waunakee, WI with his wife, Jessica, and son. This is his first novel but conducted years of “research” for the book as a frequent “member of the board” in high school and college. Spicer’s love of sports led him to play high school football, basketball and baseball, and college football and baseball, including a year of semi-professional football. He worked as a reporter for over five years at several Wisconsin weekly newspapers, covering sports and local news. Spicer has a bachelor's degree in Humanities with a minor in writing. In 2016, he earned a Master of Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. In Spicer’s free time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out and playing the French horn. He also follows his favorite professional and college sports teams, some of which leave him bitterly disappointed.
