Synopsis

The Life and Times of Dasism Lord is a coming of age story that features a naive young man learning to maneuver through the murder capitol city of Gary, IN in the late 1990's. Murder, gangs, drug dealing and the pursuit of street dominance form the backdrop to the naked truth of struggle, self exploration, ambition, leadership and organization. Dasism Lord is an anomaly in this story of crime. This gritty and raw story is a true testimony to the resilience and power of will. Inspiring and motivational. Dasism's life leaps off the page. A picture painted with words that you can see, hear, and feel the energy of the emotions living on the pages. A thug turned into a motivational speaker. A drug dealer turned into a businessman. A misguided youth turned into a professor, author, mentor, and physical trainer.
