This book was written in hopes that it would be a tool to be your child's first faithful steps to developing a daily devotion time in their lifestyle. I see tons of adult devotionals and see some journals for children, but this book gives the child a daily devotion, a prayer, practical reflection, and applications for 7 days. Plus your child reads a scripture verse every day and at the end of the week, they have read Psalm 23. The church often forgets to encourage the child to spend devotional time with God when they are young. As a minister, it is my prayer that we would remember that Jesus was in the temple at twelve with so much understanding of the word it amazed the elders. Why not create that same type of understanding for our children today so they can live in this sin-sick world better equipped to live a life pleasing to God. This book can be the start of teaching Christian character in an easy to read and understand book with great illustrations. My First 7 Day Daily Devotional was written with the young child in mind but can be used from age 5-105 if you have never used a daily devotional.
