Alise Swan was born on Canadian soil. She was well flavored by her childhood years spent in the states of Minnesota, Connecticut and Ohio. After college graduation she settled in Northcentral Wisconsin where she still lives. She and her husband, Dan, have raised five children. They farm Balsam Christmas trees as well as manage their maple syrup producing Sugar Bush. Currently, the Swans are owned by three pets. Sebastian the small, Willow the mighty English mastiff and Lagertha the huntress-a Russian blue feline. Their lives are considerable brightened by their two small granddaughters. Their remaining high school child is the reason they spend bench gripping hours attending track meets, football games and basketball games. Alise enjoys reading, writing, painting, rural life, Toby Keith concerts, swing dancing and a good cup of coffee.
