Albert Jay Nock’s The Myth Of A Guilty Nation is the first great antiwar book written. Taking a harsh look at the Treaty of Versailles Nock warning that the harsh treatment of Germany after the war was only going to be trouble in the long run. With history proving his beliefs right on the Treaty of Versailles Nock’s argument that Germany was no more to blame for the WWI than any of the other of the countries involved is hard to dismiss. Published in 1922 and was hardly circulated getting a copy in any format has been difficult.
