Michael Manley is the pen name of authors Ken Sheldon and Stan Miastkowski. Ken Sheldon has been a freelance writer and editor for over 30 years. He was formerly the West Coast bureau chief for Byte Magazine. Stan Miastkowski was a broadcast and print journalist for nearly 35 years. He was also a search and rescue worker who participated in dozens of rescue and recovery operations, including operations following the September 11 attacks in New York. He passed away in 2009.
