Max Meets Emma: Learning About Blended Families From A Basset Hound's Perspective is a fiction story to assist children and their parents with talking about normal feelings children have when blending a new family unit with their family unit, including common fears about having to share their toys, home and possibly a pet with other children. This story uses humor and symbolism allowing children to place themselves inside the story as they relate to the loveable characters of Max and Emma.
