I was born September 2nd in Golden Valley, Minnesota. I have been writing various stories in the genre of high fantasy and sci-fi/space opera throughout my education, the first when I was nine years old. I am a history aficionado; in college I minored in art history, where I focused on the French and English High Gothic period. I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for over twenty years, where I study and teach 16th century rapier combat (fencing), medieval dance, archery, all things Elizabethan England and more. I began The Source Chronicles in 1998. Seeker’s sequel, Finder, is being edited. The 3rd book in this series, Harbinger, is complete, and I am in the middle of the 4th book, Guardians (All told The Source Chronicles will be 5 books). In addition to my fiction publishing credits (“A Treacherous Stone,” in Rum and Runestones, DragonMoon Press, Spring 2010; and “The Vapor Rogues,” in Spells and Swashbucklers, DragonMoon Press, Spring 2012), I am a regular blogger (titaniumdon.com), and have worked as a journalist for Patch.com in several parts of Northern New Jersey, where I currently reside.
