Melecia Scott is a born again Christian who loves the Lord and has a passion for evangelism and the Deaf. She and her husband, the Rev. Blake Scott, are members of Canaan Baptist Church in Michigan (Rev. Charles E. Roots, Pastor). Melecia and her husband, Blake, have spearheaded the Evangelism Ministry for more than twelve years which include, walking the streets of the community, going door to door sharing the Gospel. She and her husband have also hosted various evangelism workshops to further equip the disciples of Christ for the call of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. She is a published author, writing her first book entitled, "The Meeting." Melecia has traveled to Jamaica on several occasions, ministering to the deaf and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is also a motivational speaker, a mentor, the director and interpreter for the Deaf Ministry, a Bible Study and Sunday School Teacher. Her love for the Lord inspired her to write her second book, "Ain't Nobody Mad Except the Devil." Her prayer is that this book will empower everyone and that it will remove fear barriers that prevent Christians from witnessing. She is a mother of three and her favorite pastime is spending time with family.
