Under Nazi rule, Avrum had depended on Vladik's golem-like qualities, but after the liberation the benefit of Vladik's protection becomes a liability and eventually a danger.

Biographie de l'auteur

Karen Rae Levine, an award-winning author, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in Manhattan. A mother of three and a former aerospace engineer, Karen's books are as varied as her interests. ALL ABOUT COLOR BLINDNESS: A Guide to Color Vision Deficiency for Kids (and Grown-ups Too) received four national book awards, including a "Mom's Choice." Her first novel, SISTER RAVEN, has been honored with two national book awards.
